"We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Copper Thread, located at 105/3 Ramkhamhaeng Road, Saphan Sung, Bangkok 10240, Thailand. "Resident" refers to any senior living at our residential care facility. 2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are entering into a service arrangement on behalf of another person (such as a family member), you represent that you have the authority to do so.
3. Service Description
Copper Thread provides elderly care residential services, companion care, and family transition support in Bangkok, Thailand. Our services include but are not limited to: Premium Private Residence (full-time residential care with a dedicated care attendant), Companion Care Service (personalized social engagement sessions available on-site or as home visits within Bangkok), and Family Transition Support (coordination and guidance for families moving a loved one into residential care). Service availability may vary based on capacity. We reserve the right to modify service offerings with reasonable notice to affected clients.
4. User Responsibilities
When using our website, you agree to provide accurate information in any forms you submit, to use the website and our services respectfully and lawfully, and to refrain from posting or transmitting harmful, abusive, or misleading content. When engaging with our care services, family members and visitors are expected to respect visiting hours and residence guidelines, treat staff, residents, and fellow visitors with courtesy, follow health and safety protocols on our premises, and communicate openly about any concerns regarding the care of their loved one.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, design elements, and logos — is owned by Copper Thread or used with permission. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any website content without our written consent is prohibited. The Copper Thread name and branding are our intellectual property and may not be used without authorization.
6. Payment Terms
All service fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due as agreed in individual service contracts. For residential services, monthly fees are invoiced at the beginning of each billing cycle. Companion Care sessions are billed per session or as part of a package arrangement. Family Transition Support is billed as a one-time fee at the start of the transition process. We accept bank transfer as our standard payment method. Specific payment terms, including any deposit requirements, are detailed in the individual service agreement signed prior to commencement.
7. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility varies by service type. For residential care, if a resident or family chooses to end the arrangement within the two-week introductory period, a prorated refund for unused days will be provided. After the introductory period, 30 days' written notice is required for termination, and no refund will be issued for the notice period. For Companion Care sessions cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice, the session may be rescheduled at no additional cost. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable. Family Transition Support fees are non-refundable once the coordination process has begun, as the service involves dedicated staff time and planning.
8. Disclaimers
Copper Thread is a residential care facility, not a medical or hospital facility. While our staff are trained in elder care and first aid, we do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or nursing services. We coordinate with external healthcare providers when medical attention is needed. Our services are provided on an "as-is" basis. We strive to deliver the highest standard of care; however, we cannot make specific commitments about health outcomes, behavioral changes, or emotional results for any individual resident. Any information provided on this website is for general informational purposes and should not be taken as medical or legal advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Thai law, Copper Thread shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, epidemics, or other force majeure events.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Copper Thread, its staff, and its officers from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or any violation of applicable law in connection with your use of our website or services.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a service arrangement as outlined in the individual service agreement. Generally, 30 days' written notice is required for residential care termination. Copper Thread may terminate services if a resident's needs exceed the level of care we are equipped to provide, if terms of the service agreement are materially breached, or if continued service poses a safety concern for the resident, other residents, or staff. Upon termination, any outstanding fees remain due, and personal belongings will be returned to the resident or family.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage both parties to first seek an informal resolution by contacting us at legal@copperones. If informal resolution is not successful, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand. Both parties agree to participate in mediation before pursuing litigation where possible.
13. General Provisions
These Terms, together with any signed service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Copper Thread regarding the subject matter covered. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right. We may not assign our obligations under these Terms without your consent, except in the case of a business reorganization or sale. Notices under these Terms may be sent via email to the address on file.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. If changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients directly. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
